Gruha Shanti Puja: Complete Vidhi for Your New Home

Gruha Shanti is performed before entering a new home — it pacifies Vastu dosha, the navagrahas and local energies, and invites peace into the dwelling.

When it is done

Traditionally on an auspicious Griha Pravesh muhurat — avoid Shukra-asta, Guru-asta and inauspicious lunar days per your family panchang.

What it covers

Ganesh puja, Navagraha shanti, Vastu puja with the Vastu Purush mantra, havan, and the first boiling of milk in the new kitchen — a sign of abundance.

Samagri

Mango leaves, kalash, havan samagri, navadhanya (nine grains), idols of Ganesh-Lakshmi, and flowers — our pooja samagri kits cover the complete list.
