Donation Policy

1. Purpose

Donations made on AstroMart are routed to the temples, trusts and causes listed against each campaign. Donation campaigns display the beneficiary and purpose clearly.

2. Use of Funds

Donated amounts (less payment-gateway charges where applicable) are remitted to the beneficiary institution. Administrative or platform charges, if any, are disclosed on the campaign page.

3. Receipts & Tax

• A donation receipt is issued for every donation (email + My Account → Donations).
• 80G tax exemption applies only where the beneficiary trust is 80G-registered and it is indicated on the campaign. Consult your tax advisor for deduction eligibility under the Income-tax Act, 1961.

4. Refunds

Donations are voluntary and non-refundable, except duplicate payments or gateway errors (refunded within 5–7 business days).

5. Transparency

We endeavour to share utilisation updates for major campaigns. Beneficiary institutions are responsible for their own statutory compliance.
