AstroTruth India Private Limited ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the SPDI Rules, 2011.

1. Data We Collect

Identity & contact: name, mobile number, email, delivery address.
Order & payment metadata: order history, transaction references (card/UPI details are processed only by our payment gateways and are never stored by us).
Spiritual-service data: birth details (date, time, place), name/gotra — provided voluntarily for kundli, sankalp and puja purposes only.
Technical data: device, IP, browser, cookies and usage analytics.

2. Purpose of Processing (DPDP Act s.4–7)

We process personal data only for lawful purposes with your consent or for legitimate uses: order fulfilment, puja/seva booking and delivery of proof, customer support, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and — with your consent — festival offers and spiritual updates.

3. Sharing

We share data only as needed with: payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU), logistics partners (Shiprocket), communication vendors (SMS/email/WhatsApp APIs), and partner temples for conducting booked rituals — all under contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Your Rights (DPDP Act)

Access, correct and erase your personal data;
Withdraw consent at any time (marketing opt-out is instant);
Nominate a representative; and
Complain to our Grievance Officer, and thereafter to the Data Protection Board of India.

5. Security & Retention

We apply reasonable security practices per IT Act s.43A and SPDI Rules (encryption in transit, access controls, prepared-statement storage). Data is retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes and statutory obligations (e.g. tax records), then deleted or anonymised.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for cart, login sessions and analytics. You may disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work.

7. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 18; we do not knowingly collect their data without verifiable guardian consent.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified on the site. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
